Udo’s Choice Oil Blend

I always talk about Why Cod Liver Oil Is Ridiculously Useful for people with gut issues but cod liver isn’t an option if we follow a strict plant-based diet. Udo’s oil is the perfect alternative.

Omega-3 and 6 are essential fats that our body cannot produce and therefore must be consumed through the food we eat.

However due to our modern diet of processed food and low-quality vegetable oils, most of us consume far too much omega-6 and not enough omega-3, contributing to inflammation in the gut and body.

Udo’s provides a high-quality, plant-based source of Omega 3 and 6 in the ideal ratio of 2:1 that supports optimum gut health and reduces inflammation throughout our body.

How to use

Do NOT use for cooking and frying as this damages the delicate structure of the oils and greatly reduces their nutritional benefits. Mixing into prepared food at serving temperature is advised. Favourite uses are in salads, protein shakes, yoghurt, juices, soups, on steamed vegetables, rice, and pastas, and with balsamic vinegar for dipping.

Serving size: For adults, 1 tablespoon per 50lb of bodyweight.

For children under 3 years: 1 teaspoon every 2 days. Children aged 3 – 8: 1 teaspoon a day. Children aged 8 – 12: 1 tablespoon a day. Children over 12: 1-2 tablespoons per day
